Two-a-Days on MTV

As you probably already know, I'm a reality show junkie. And I also like to watch football. So when MTV came out with Two-a-Days (Hoover High football team in Alabama and their quest for the championship), I was curious.

I loved the show. When you see guys like Alex Binder and Max Lerner (Max was my favorite character), you can't stop watching. They're not only adorable, they work their butts off to be the best. And best they were, winning the state championship last year. I have nothing but respect for these guys.

A new season starts this month (I think Tuesday).

Are you gonig to watch? My TiVo is already set. (I hope Max Lerner will make a cameo...)

Fun, Simone! Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't know anything about this show.

I know soooo many people who are products of Hoover High School, so it's really funny to see this as a big deal hit TV show. The QB at my college is the older brother of the Hoover QB. And, I even used the phrase "Bama Bangs" in my last YA to describe a guy's hair. LOL!!

We don't have cable, much to my children's chagrin. But I tell them... We have four cell phones and two land lines. Not to mention my dsl. Our communication costs too much to get cable. LOL

Teri,

I think you can watch the entire episode of Two-a-Days on www.mtv.com but I'm not sure. Then again, if you don't have cable it's probably for a reason.

Ooh, I saw commercials for this but thought it would be just another gung ho football thing... after seeing those pics I'll definitely reconsider. Plus I'm always fascinated to watch people single-mindedly focused on a single goal (is this true of every reality show?). Maybe this is because, except for writing, I have trouble staying committed to a single project.

Great plug, Simone. I'll definitely try and catch a few episodes.
