Happy nearly Independence Day, guys!
My question for you today is -- are you learning anything new this summer?
Buzz Girl Marley is taking SCUBA lessons, and I decided to learn to sail.
This summer I've been out racing on a friend's boat, barely able to help but having lots of fun -- and then I decided that my friends were right -- it was time to take the classes.
So far, I'm loving it! I can't wait to be able to sail in my own little boat.
How about you guys? Are you learning anything new this summer?

No, Heather, I think I just need to live vicariously through the other Buzz Girls' adventures. My summer is going to be made up of two writing conferences and writing my next book. (Oh, with a two short family vacays tucked in.) But I expect those more adventurous to keep me posted!
My mom is teaching me to crochet this summer. This is something that her grandmother taught her, so its very cool to finally be learning. Yay!

:) I'm learning about American Government, which is the class I'm in right now. lol Not very exciting right?
This winter I learned how to snowboard and took hip hop dance lessons. Now I'm learning to back a trailer, drive a boat, and wakeboard. (in order of difficulty). Oh, and as of 3 days ago, I'm learning how to do some pretty beefy revisions on a two-week deadline while the kids are out of school.
