So it got me wondering if I could find some nail polish names that reminded me of my books(REVENGE OF THE HOMECOMING QUEEN, TWISTED SISTERS). I found quite a few.

OMG, I love this! Years ago, a friend gave me a spa pedicure gift certificate where I had my first sighting of OPI nail polish (and their super-clever names). The polish rack was beside my spa chair and I went absolutely nuts, laughing and ooohing and aaahing over the clever names. I finally had to explain to the baffled technician that I was sorta a word freak. :)

ReplyDeleteCute post, Steph! OPI does have creative polish names. I've only had my nails done a few times in my life, but I have such a hard time choosing between all the fun colors when I go. I know what kind of mood I am in then, but who's to say whether I'm in a turquoise, red, or hot pink mood for the next few days? :)

Speaking of colors as opposed to names, my toes are currently painted a beautiful Caribbean shade of blue. Bet Tina and Steph can guess why ... (shhh)
Having never even heard of OPI polishes, I'll stick with the tried and true shades -- Oak tree, followed closely by Maple tree.
