Beach Reads

Don't you love this time of year when you can sit by the pool/beach, out on the porch or just splay out in a lawn chair, curl up in the sunshine and read a good book? Beach reads are definitely the best!

What are you reading this summer? Any great books to share? Let us know!

I'm reading tons this summer and need another trip to the bookstore. Just finished Secret Society Girl so I can read the second one:) My editor sent me a welcome to the company package of books and I am almost done with them. Next on my list to buy is the buzz girls book... I'm getting behind and we wouldn't want that!

I just finished an advance reader copy read of PAPER HEARTS by Debrah Williamson. 15 year-old runaway Chancy Deel stole my heart as she tried to find a new and better life for herself. And it's beautifully written--the kind of book you can really lose yourself in. It comes out in early August, and I recommend everyone pick up a copy!

Since I can't afford to travel overseas at the moment, I'm doing some serious armchair traveling by getting into the (entire) S.A.S.S. series. Travelogue matched with teen romance in a pleasant binding, what could be better?

So many, but the one series I just became addicted to was the Seer series by Linda Joy Singleton. And two other books that were great: Off Season and The Weight of the Sky. SOOOO many books, not enough time!
