Hi all! Hope you're enjoying the biggest Sunday in football. I'm taking a break from the game to bring you a bit of news gleaned from my trip last week to NYC.
Never Cry Werewolf has been moved to the fall list at HarperTeen. The new official release date = September 1st.
Initially, I was bummed. I've been waiting a long time for the book to debut (sold it in Oct. 2006) but after thinking about the pros and cons of the release date, I think that fall is going to be just fine.
It'll be a great spooky read for Halloween, will be coming out just as everyone is heading back to class for the year (school visits!) and will hopefully make it on to some Christmas lists, even. So, I'm optimistic that the universe has a master plan that will benefit the book in the long run.
If you believe in Mercury retrograde (part of Astrology stuff) you know that delays and problems happen during that phase. So, I'm kind of counting the rescheduling as part of that, and then in other news, I twisted my ankle on Saturday. Let's hope the Mercury drama is on the way out... it's supposed to end today, Feb. 1 -- and I'm sure ready for it to be done.
Anyway, have a great Superbowl Sunday -- and mark your fall reads calendar with NCW on September 1st. The best things in life are worth waiting for... right?
hugs,
Heather

It's a little bad sad they changed the release date but I'm sure everyone can wait for a good read, no matter how long it may take ^^
Your book is sooooo worth waiting for!
Sorry to hear that the date was changed. However, everything will turn out alright, especially because you're thinking so optimistically!
Take care of that ankle, Heather. ;)
Thanks, guys!
