My turn on the Meme!
You're feeling: hungry
To your left: my retro chocolate brown couch, complete with a lime green throw blanket and Harper Cat chilling on the armrest. (See photo!)
On your mind: What to eat for dinner and whether or not to skip Yoga class tonight...
Last meal included: Steamed broccoli and macaroni 'n cheese.
You sometimes find it hard to: understand why people get so down on themselves. This *is* the good stuff people -- live it up!
The weather: June rain, but still smells like summer outside.
Something you have a collection of: champagne corks marked with the reasons I popped the cork -- like finishing my first book or spending the first night in my single girl apartment.
A smell that cheers you up: Freshly ground coffee beans.
A smell that can ruin your mood: Cleaning products trying to cover wet dog smell.
How long since you last shaved: Yesterday. Ok, I'm lying. The day before yesterday. Really.
The current state of your hair: crazy and trapped in a barrette. It'll be wrecked if I go to Yoga anyway... see, I'll probably go.
The largest item on your desk/workspace (not computer): A spiral of notes on my new book.
Your skill with chopsticks: Excellent! I'm a Pacific Rim kind of girl.
Which section you head for first in a bookstore: Young Adult, to look for my friends' books. I might (occasionally) face them out. Yes, that's me doing that, sorry!
Something you’re craving: The perfect GH Night dress. Maybe something in blue this year.
Your general thoughts on the presidential race: Yay! I love it when people get involved.
How many times have you been hospitalized this year: 0.
Favorite place to go for a quiet moment: anywhere with my ipod.
You’ve always secretly thought you’d be a good: stand-up comedian. Or a lawyer. See -- that's funny stuff, right there.
Something that freaks you out a little: going fast with nothing around me -- ie skiing, motorcycles, jetpacks etc.
Something you’ve eaten too much of lately: really good Miche bread from Paris. My local store imports it every week. The problem is not the bread, it's the cheese that goes with it.
You have never: liked Mt. Dew
You never want to: get a tatoo.
Okay! That's me. Dona, I think you're on deck!
