1. Roomba—A robotic vacuum! I am way more excited about this than I should be because I hate vacuuming. Now all I have to do is punch a button and Wilbur (that's what my dad named him and I think it fits) will do all the work for me. Yay!
2. Wine glasses—I already have wine glasses, but these ones are better because they have turquoise stems (turquoise being my fave color). My mom found them at an antique shop in Guthrie, OK. But I won't hold that against them.
3. Peppermint kitchen kit—From Williams Sonoma (they have the best soaps and lotions for the kitchen) it includes dish soap, hand soap, lotion, and counter cleaner. Mmmm.
4. Handmade bowl—Made by my uncle Greg. It's small, round, and totally perfect. (He made my parents a Chinese checkers board with the first line of their wedding vows carved across the top. Way cool.)
5. Gift cards—I have the funds to keep me in Starbucks and Barnes & Noble for a good while, and a little fun at Target, too.
Okay, so those were some of my favorite gifts of this Christmas season. What about you? Any fab prezzies you'd like to share?
Hugs,
TLC

I got lots of gift cards this year. I also got some Born shoes, one of those wraparounds that you put on after showering (it's SO soft), a robe and some new sweaters!
We don't celebrate Christmas here so I got practically nothing T.T I'm glad you got a lot of cool stuff though, the vacuum cleaner sounds great!
Ooh, I've heard great things about Born shoes, Steph. You'll have to let me know what you think.
Thao, I can enthusiastically recommend the Roomba! I charged it and used it on my parents' carpets and it was wonderful!
I got many lovely and thoughtful gifts, but I must mention the "sweater" my son gave me. Which turned out to be a new DVD player. Very nice indeed!
Haha! Sounds like there's a story there, Tina!
I have to say the best two things I got are an electric blanket and this tray thingy for the bathtub. Now it is always warm and toasty in my bed and I have a place to prop my book in the tub. Now the only problem is all I want to do is take baths and stay in bed while I read. Good thing I also got bookstore gift certificates.
My favorite gifts this year include: new jeans (I know this isn't exciting but I lost 35 pounds this year so buying jeans in a MUCH smaller size was so much fun!!), workout clothes (also weird, right? But the clothes from Lucy are just fabulous) and gift cards to Barnes and Noble (who wouldn't love that!!)
I think next year I shall tell my dad about a robotic vacumn cleaner. . . . it'll save both me and her lots of trouble. lol. I'll start giving him hints around, oh, Thanksgiving, and maybe he'll get sick enough of me bugging him he'll actually get it, lol.
hope.
