Let The Games Begin!

Playing off Marley's post yesterday about her first kiss being during the kissing game of "School", I thought we could explore some other kissing games.

Here’s a few, starting with the ones we probably all know:

Spin the Bottle-- a circle of friends, a bottle that spins, and plenty of kisses!

Seventh Minutes in Heaven-- a guy, a girl, a timer, a closed door...

Dentist-- one girl, three guys, a chair, a blindfold. She decides who’s best, and then he takes the seat and blindfold to meet three girls.

And here’s some you may not have heard of:

The Candy Kiss Game-- Open one hard candy per couple. Start the timer. Start the kissing, passing the candy back and forth between mouths. And when the bell goes off, the partner with the candy in her/her mouth is the winner!

Marathon Kissing-- which couple can go the longest without breaking the seal.

Marathon NOT Kissing-- put couples together with lips almost touching, and see who can go the longest without kissing.

Wow...these all sound a lot more fun than the boring winter Tuesday I’m having today. Tell me what you think of these games...and if you have any others to add!

I feel like such a LOZER! I never played any of these games. I guess it was because I was such a good girl! :) And still am for that matter!

I think the only kissing game I played was spin the bottle, and I remember hoping I didn't have to kiss someone I didn't want to. haha!

Tina,
that pic of Sawyer is making me have very unpure thoughts today! I hope you are happy with yourself! :)

Steph, I was wondering if you'd comment on Kate and Sawyer! You know it's there just for you...

whose the second kissing picture?

Hi Anonymous, that's the Kate and Sawyer characters from "Lost". My Blogmate, Step Hale and I both share an, um, interest, in Josh Holloway, so every now and then I slip a shot of him into one of my posts to see if she's paying attention! :)

Hi Tina,
I remember Seven Minutes in Heaven, but I was always so insecure, it was more like Seven Minutes in Hell.

Great post

I'm always paying attention, Tina. Do you know that I still haven't watched any of the Lost episodes since they started last Sept. I think that pic might actually make me start watching, that and that I heard that gorgeous guy who kisses Nicole Kidman in the Chanel #5 commercial is now on the show. yummy.

The only other one I can name is Suck and Blow... heehee. The only one I ever played was spin the bottle, though, which never lasted long enough to get to me (I had very prudish friends, apparently!).

That Kate/Sawyer pic makes me want to watch Lost, even though I haven't in ages... ah, he's such a pretty boy.

*And by prudish I mean insecure and geeky.... and maybe prudish. haha

Kelly, your memory about Spin the Bottle is close to mine.

Janie, LOL--and thanks.

Lisa, thanks for weighing in, and yeah, Sawyer's worth watching. (A-hem to Steph who has apparently slacked off!)

The only time I played Spin the Bottle was in the basement at Jami Gertz' brother's house (you know, the actress who was the fiancee in Twister) and she came down and asked what we were all doing and it was totally embarassing!

Kissed a lot, but never did kiss anyone in a game. When we played Spin the Bottle a guy I liked - Robby- and I just sat in the closet and did absolutely nothing. It was more embarassing than anything else. Did I mention we were in grade school? What did we know back then?

Playing spin the bottle was always so nerve wracking--no wonder I have anxiety issues! And of course I always got the weird guy who smelled funny.
As far as other kissing games, "I Never" usually resulted in a little frisky business!

Hey, Simone, a party with Jami Gertz's brother, huh? And grade school? No wonder she came to check on you guys! LOL.

Alex, thanks for commenting, and you know, I think I had my share of weird, smelly guys in that game, too!

This is too cool. I never played any of these games myself, but I created something like Spin the Bottle in my first book, Secrets and Kisses. I'm planning creating a blog for this book. Do you mind if I borrow this post for future content?

Have at it, Gemini! In fact, e-mail me thru my website if you want (www.tinaferraro.com) and I'll spill my research secrets! :)

Tina!

I missed out on a lot. Never played any of these games except spin the bottle. Poor me.

Thanks for the pix of Wesley and Buttercup. Love them.
