I can't wait for this movie!

Sorry for the seriously late post. I kind of forgot it was Friday. I know, pretty pathetic, right? It's just that my hubby's days off always seem like the weekend, even when they fall in the middle of the week, so I kind of thought it was Tuesday until about twenty minutes ago!

Anyhoo, I wanted to share my excitement about an upcoming movie release. I saw the first ad for this movie a few months ago and I have been dying to see it ever since. Finally, July 18 is almost here and I can finally go see MAMMA MIA!

If for some insane reason you haven't heard of this movie, I'll give you a brief synopsis. It's the story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using music by ABBA. As if that isn't enough, the three possible dads are Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Stellan Skarsgard. Her mom, who won't give up the baby daddy 411, is none other than Meryl Strep. Oh, yeah, and it's all filmed in Greece. Could this all add up to a more perfect movie?

Is there a movie that you are looking forward to this summer? And have any of you seen Mamma Mia on Broadway?

xo,

Stephanie

I saw a coming attraction for this--probably when I went to see Sex and the City--and it looked DARling! It's definitely on my summer movie list.

I'm looking forward to the new Batman...and I can't wait to see the new Angelina Jolie action flick that opens today -- cuz it's got James McAvoy in it. :-)

Mamma Mia played a few years ago in Utrecht, here in Holland. Unfortunately i didn't see the show on stage. But! in 2005 i started working at the biggest musical theatre ticket company here and we get a tour backstage!
We also set foot on the stage, in the decor of mamma mia with the white Greek house fronts and the blue background. That was so cool to see and do! As a big musical theatre lover, i sure want to see the movie. And the day before my birthday i am going to see Les Miserables! it is finally playing here again. And Tarzan is also in the planning!
