So I went to Barnes & Noble the other day. Luckily, the closest one is about forty-five minutes away so I can't bankrupt myself too easily. I tried to control myself but still managed to spend $100. Here's what I got.
The Fidelity Files by Jessica Brody
That's Amore by Wendy Markham
Kitty Kitty by Michelle Jaffe
Such a Pretty Fat by Jen Lancaster
Geek Abroad by Piper Banks
Read My Lips by Teri Brown
I got home and immediately (okay after I fed, bathed, then fed the offspring again) curled up in my recliner, threw my legs over the side and dived into The Fidelity Files. And even though I was very content at that moment, I couldn't help but daydream (is it still called daydreaming when it's night?) about my book and I swinging between two palm trees on a hammock while gazing out at the ocean.
This looks like a good reading spot. Heck, I'd even settle for this.

Stephanie

As a matter of fact I just finished a lovely little book called "Twisted Sisters", but the author's name escapes me at the moment! :)
I'm finally getting around to reading "Revenge of the Cheerleaders" by Janette Rallison.
Happy 4th all y'all!
Steph,
Thanks so much for picking up my book! I hope you enjoy it! Your books sound great. I'll have to check them out!
Stop by my site and tell me what you think when you're done. :)

I am still reading FEARLESS FOURTEEN by Janet Evanovich. I got sidetracked with my writing, and actually like FF so much that I wanted to give it my full attention. Mostly I read on the built-in window seat my husband made for our family room. Great place for cat naps, too--for me and the cat.
Right now, I am reading The Taker by J.M. Steele. I read either on my super comfy bed or the bid comfy yummy brown couched in the family room!
Right now I am reading revisions on my WIP...BUT as soon as I'm done, I have big plans to tackle my TBR pile which includes Bad Kitty and Lean Mean Thirteen!
I'm about half way through ECLIPSE. I know...what's taken me so long to get to read this. Can't wait for BREAKING DAWN.
I finished WAKE by Lisa McMann on July 4th, it was amazing! And then I started Audrey, Wait! by Robin Benway. I have like 100 pages left. It's soooooo good. Definitely on like my top 10 favorite books now.
I just read sitting on the couch by my laptop so I can check my Myspace every so often. Or I sit outside in the back yard on the swing. It's really comfy.

Oh and Marley, I haven't even read New Moon yet. So you're ahead of me! I own it, I just haven't picked it up yet. Even though I really want to. I'm just weird.
