A Quarter of a Century!

I don’t do many personal posts here at the Buzz Girls’ Blog, but this past weekend, my husband and I celebrated a landmark--our 25th wedding anniversary--and I want to share!

Here is a picture of us, “back in the day,” on October 2, 1985, in Arrowhead, California:

To celebrate, we’re going to spend a romantic week in Hawaii-- but not just yet. Between his work schedule and making sure our kids and cats and home are properly attended to, we need to hold off a bit.

So as we anticipate our “silver anniversary” trip, perhaps some of you could help us with “silver” phrases...like, “the silver light of the moon?” Anything else come to mind?

Congratulations! How about "Every cloud has a silver lining." And "Hi-yo Silver!" Use your imagination (of which you have plenty) on that last one!
Have fun in Hawaii.

Aw, 25 years, Tina!!! Congrats!

I'd have to say silver-tongued (which I'm not) and born with a silver spoon in your mouth (which I'm not either).

Happy 25th Anniversary Ferraro's! That is such an amazing accomplishment! I hope you have a wonderfully romantic time in Hawaii.

I'm not getting anything silver related except a song I learned in Girl Scouts.
Make new friends,
but keep the old.
One is silver,
and the other gold. :)
