Quick Reader Poll!

Lately I've found myself curious about reading formats...hardcover versus paperback versus digital versus audio. All of which I embrace! I find myself watching people in airports and coffee shops, reading dialogues here on the internet, and taking mental notes.

My secondary interest is WHERE the book came from. An on-line store? A brick-and-mortar store? A library? A friend? A gift? Other?

So I thought it might be fun for us take a quick poll through our comments. Feel free to list the name of the book you are reading and the author, if you want, but specifically tell us:

--the book's format

and

--how/where you got it!

I will go first...read down in the comments!

The book I am reading came from an on-line bookstore, pre-ordered, and it's paperback!

I have two. One, Blue Skies Tomorrow by Sarah Sundin, is a paperback ARC that came from the publisher. The other, Unashamed by Francine Rivers, is a hard cover from the library.

I usually only listen to audio books on long drives. I've only read one book electronically, and whether a book is hardback or paperback makes no difference to me. :)

One of the books I am (re)reading is I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have To Kill You by Ally Carter. I bought in the store (I think at Barnes and Noble, if you want me to be that specific), and it's paperback. Another book I'm also rereading is Ghost Huntress: The Discovery by Marley Gibson. It is paperback and I bought it in the store at either Barnes and Noble or Borders- I can't remember. The third book I'm reading is Everlasting by Alyson Noel from the Immortals series. It's the last in the series, I bought it online from Barnes and Noble's website. It's hardcover.

The book I just finished, Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes by Jonathan Auxier, is in hardcover and was purchased at Barnes & Noble. I'll take a book in any form, really. If I especially want a book, I'll get it in hardcover if that's the only form I can get it.

I'm reading Bloodlines on my Kindle. Pre-ordered it so I'd get it 12:10 am on the day it got released.

I bought Ms. Peregrine's home for peculiar children at B&N bricks and mortar store because I figured the pictures were better in an actual printed book.

I am currently reading Gone by Michael Grant and Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan and The Chestnut King(the last in the series) by N.D. Wilson and Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld and waiting to finish two books so I can read The Medusa Plot from one of the assorted writers of the 39 Clues (most of the 39 Clues I have on CD but this one is paper) and Oh.My.Gods. by Tera Lynn Childs.

I just finished Melting Ice by Stephanie Laurens, ebook. It was part of a package at StoryBundle.

I read ebooks as well as print. There have been 25 print from the library this year.

I get my print books at amazon, Target, Book Depository, sometimes B&N or Walmart.

I get my ebooks from amazon, all romance ebooks (ARe), and straight from a number of publishers.

I also read everything from picture books to erotica. Short stories to chunksters. Melting Ice was book #201 this year.
