Make Way for the Flash Mob Dance!

Hello! I hope you're having a great weekend! So, my question for today is: Have you ever been somewhere to see a flash mob dance? Or better yet, have you ever danced in one? You know, like this one that the crowd busted into in Chicago when the Black Eyed Peas were performing for Oprah? Click HERE to see video if you missed it.

Or this one, when a little music gets an entire mall full of shoppers to shake their groove thangs in a recent episode of "Glee"? Click HERE if you missed it.

They're all the rage, whether just for fun or to raise money for charities. YouTube is full of flash mob dance sightings, so if you're curious, check them out!

They're REAL!?!? That's awesome! I've only seen them on tv, and movies--They show Weeds had one. And the movie Enchanted--But it's the kind of thing you used to see in old musicals.

These new ones look so cool, and I always wonder how people know the moves

I hadn't seen that episode of GLEE yet, but absolutely loved it! And I adore the idea of flash mob dances. Hope to come upon one some day!

I haven't seen one live, either, but according to my friend (Megan, if you're reading this) it's typically a dance troop or group of good friends who learn the dance and then one starts some loud music in a public place and the group slowly starts doing their routine. I would LOVE to see (or be in one), especially if it's to raise money for charity! Can you imagine!!?

I did hear of a Thriller zombie flash mob here in the NW back in January - but I didn't attend. Sounds cool, though!
