Don't know if it helps...you being the PROFESSIONAL writer and all, but when I have a paragraph that I know won't fit, but I still love it, I've been setting them aside to make/add to new stories.
...And didn't you say this is your shortest revision yet!?!?!?
Frankly, there seem to be a number of people (including me) who would be more than happy to take whatever you have now (or rip it from your fingertips)...So don't stress too much, as Sarah said in the previous comment--"You can totally do it all, and that's no JOKE!"
