The Superbowl of Movies!

Just a quick post, my friends, because today is OSCAR day!

Yay! If you love movies as much as I do, you'll be settling in to watch the big show shortly.

I expect that my Heath Ledger will win his posthumous Oscar for The Dark Night -- but the other categories all seem like wildcards this year.

Will you be watching? Did you watch? Who do you think was robbed and who looked fabulous on the red carpet. Let me know in the comments section!

Hugs,

Heather

Never Cry Werewolf ~ HarperTeen Sept. 2009

The Clearing ~ Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Spring 2010

P.S. -- I just turned in The Clearing to my HMH editor yesterday and I am sooooo excited about this book. I can't wait for everyone to read my most romantic and touching story ever. (IMHO, of course.) :) I think you're going to fall in love with my WWII guy, Henry.

Yay for Heath! Much deserved and so nicely handled by his family.

I agree, Tina. It broke my heart to think of little Matilda. His family was so gracious it made me cry.
I truly think that Mickey Rourke was robbed. But I'm glad he's back.

I cried too when Heath was honored. And I thought the show was great! Hugh Jackman did a fantastic job.
