It's April 14th -- and that means it's time for YA authors and readers to hit the streets and leave a favorite teen book for a lucky reader to find.
It's a really fun thing happening all over the country (and maybe in other parts of the world?) today. Many authors and fans will be tweeting and blogging about their drop. You can get more deets about the mission over at -- Readergirlz.
Have any of you "Rocked the Drop" today?
Or -- better yet -- have any of you found one of the dropped books?
Hugs,
Heather

How did I not know about this day???
Funny thing is I didn't really go out yesterday, so I'll have to be a Johnny-Come-Lately on this.
I had so much fun doing Rock the Drop this year. I dropped 9 books around my town. And something kind of fun, after I announced it on Twitter and Facebook, our local bookstore decided to give a discount on teen books to help celebrate Teen Lit Day. Oh! And this year, someone dropped Lifted, which is very exciting!
Woo, Wendy! 9 books is amazing!!
Marley and Tina, I'm going to be dropping late, but my friend Liz Gallagher left two books at the famous Troll statue in the Fremont neighborhood (it's in her book so that's so perfect.)
