I have the bad habit of going straight to Yahoo! the minute I turn on my computer every day. It took me a while to realize how all this instant access to news was affecting my mood. While not all bad, I would say at least seventy-five percent isn't exactly cheerful fodder for my day. I decided that I needed some websites to visit each day that would make me happy. I've discovered two that I love.The first is called Jim's Pancakes. It isn't updated daily but is definitely worth waiting for. This creative dad spends his mornings making the most awesome pancake creations for his adorable children. It makes me insanely happy when Jim posts his brilliant new flapjack art! My second favorite website is http://www.whenparentstext.com/. This site has some absolute gems that make my sides hurt from laughing so hard. My mom has not ventured into texting yet and I can only imagine what her texts would look like if she did. Some of them are also really sweet. Enjoy.

This will come as no surprise, but I like websites that offer up pictures of cute animals, especially cats! Like icanhascheezburger.com!
I love jimspancakes too marley. I found the site when it started cause my grandmother knows the guy.
LOLcats is a favorite, too, Tina! And Steph...I'm with you on Yahoo being depressing. I get my "news" from their headlines. But I have to say, on a day where tornadoes were ripping through the south, Yahoo's lead story was "Tori Spelling tweets, 'I'm pregnant!'" Really? That was the most imporant story?
My friends have a blog where they post silly stuff that they have found on the internet. It's a good way to just sit around and laugh for a while. And I get to see different kinds of humor between all of my friends

I love tumblr. There's all of this interesting stuff that makes me laugh, smile, cry, etc. I just love it. Also, visiting my favorite authors' blogs everyday and finding something new always makes me happy. Always. :)
I would have to say adoptasoldier.com I love reading the sweet stories about the soldiers who have no one are connected with a loving caring person or family. Its especially heart warming to me seeing as how I am married to a soldier. But you already knew that! LOL *Aaliyah*
Its totally Lolcats. Thats where I go when I want a quick pick me up. I really try to limit my news time. Its always depressing.
I have this soap opera message board I go to and have made really great friends there. They always make me laugh.We barely talk about the show anymore.
