Let’s Talk Kindles!

Last week Amazon Digital Services released How to Hook a Hottie in Kindle Edition! I knew from my agent and editor that this was in the works, and was pleased to see the e-book format come to life.

Here's the Amazon link:

HOTTIE

But until very recently, the only thing I’ve known about Kindle Editions is that my critique partner, Kelly Parra’s book, Graffiti Girl, has been selling well as one.

Here's the Amazon link:

GRAFFITI GIRL

I did play the informational video on the Amazon site, so now I understand the concept and the attraction of the Kindle electronic device and format. But I’d love it if people could enlighten me a bit about what they know and how they like them--and to tell me if I should jump into the Kindle world myself (since clearly, I admire their taste in books =)).

Happy Memorial Day!

Hi Tina, thanks for mentioning GG! I've actually heard good things about the kindle from my agent's blog. I've been wanting to check one out myself!

Congrats on the release of your ebook!

I know that Twisted Sisters is supposed to be an ebook soon too. I have to admit the Kindle is cool looking but I love the look and feel of a book too much! :)

Hey Tina:

I have a friend who works at Amzn and I had a chance to check out the Kindle...it so SO cool :)

SALSA is available in Kindle as well and I (very shamelessly) read through a few pages on the Kindle...I think the readers who buy our books for their Kindle will be pleasantly surprised at its weight, portability and usefulness...you can carry around 500 "books" with you!

Of course, I can't get one because I just know I'd lose it!

Thanks, all three of you, for weighing in. Yes, I'm excited about the possibilities for all of our books in this new format...and might just have to invest in a Kindle myself.

Hi Tina,
I don't know much about the Kindle, but I'm glad Hottie will be on it.
