On Location

Tina's post yesterday about the fountains at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas (and the pic from a fave movie of mine) inspired me to think about other favorite movies shot at iconic locations. Here are some, in no particular order.

Petronas Towers in Kuala Lampur (Entrapment)

The Empire State Building in New York (Sleepless in Seattle)

Angkor Wat in Cambodia (Lara Croft: Tomb Raider)

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (Thomas Crown Affair)

Petra in Jordan (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade)

So far, the only ones I've visited are those in New York (The Empire State Building and the Metropolitan Museum), but I'd love to see them all.

Are there any movie locations you'd love to visit?

Hugs,
TLC

Fun, Tera! And ditto that I've only seen the Met and Empire State Building. But one of my recent adventures was to find the beach where LOST is filmed...and to have a picture of myself taken in the spot where Sawyer pitched his tent!

Ooh, fun post! Those places are all so beautiful. I have wanted to explore New Zealand ever since watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy. What a gorgeous landscape.

ps-Quick question. A few years ago, one of you lovely ladies did contest to describe the love interest in one of your new books. Apparently, my description won, but then I never heard anything about what the book was called or when it was published. I'd love to buy a copy, if you have any information! Thanks, Alex

Cool pictures, Tera. These sites are so cool. As for me, I think I need to tour more castles...
